A suspect has been ARRESTED and CHARGED with a FELONY!
Debi has just spoken to the investigator who made the arrest. A family in the next county had reported their son had found a horse while out hunting. Upon questioning the suspect, it was determined that he'd attended a party near Jackie's that night and while drunk, had cut the fence and ridden M most of the way back to his house. M was found about 5-6 miles from Jackie. There are more details that cannot be released pending an investigation. During his time away from home, M was kept in a dog pen! (added Jan. 12, 2007)
M was found this afternoon and is home. Jackie got a call at 4:30. There is a suspect and an arrest is pending. Jackie called me as soon as she got home and is so excited!!! | Incident Description: | He was in his stall overnight, someone cut our four strand fence, and led him out. Stall door was closed but he was gone. "M" was fed some hay at about 11pm on 1/7/07 and found missing at 8am on 1/8/07. His halter was still hanging on his stall, but the lead rope was gone. There were a few hoof prints where he was led out of his stall to the fence that was cut nearby. Then his hoofprints disappear
PLEASE spread the word and keep your eyes open for this guy. He will be easy to pick out of a crowd and 100% identifiable be his facial scar and left rear hoof.
