Description: Troy, Haflinger gelding, missing in alleged theft by deception. Owner purchased Troy along with two other horses from a lady who could no longer provide their care. Another female, who was keeping them temporarily while the owner arranged shipping and new boarding. The rescuer claimed that in order to ship, the owner had to sign over ownership to her so that ASPCA and Animal Control wouldn't become involved. She then claimed that Troy had been moved to a nearby barn yet she allegedly sold him. Owner is investigating the possibility of theft by deception charges. The other two horses are safe at a nearby farm.
