Description: Tuff was leased out in June 2022 with my other horse, Peanut. I had a contract done by my attorney. Since then, I have been getting updates and have had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. When I reached out to get both my horses back, I discovered that Tuff had been sold under my contract along with my other horse. Peanut (my other horse) was recovered and coming home. Tuff, however, we can’t locate it. We have police incident reports in two counties and an active lawsuit against the lessee.
