Through the power of Facebook I have reached out and received many requests. This is a very short version of Our Story About Chicky: We owned Chicky for six wonderful years. We sold her due to finances and life circumstances. One of the worst decisions of our lives. She went to a beautiful, prestigious ranch in Princeton, Kentucky. We were able to visit her and had first rights of refusal. The last time we saw her was in April of 2013. Again a family illness prevented us from seeing her until September of 2015 which is when we went to the ranch and saw she was no longer there. They said she got caught up in a recipient mare switch. We have been searching since then with the help of Stolen Horse International/netposse. Please visit their website for more info. They have been my angels through this whole ordeal. Chicky is a 17 year old Chestnut/Sorrel quarter horse. She has a left hind stocking and a right hind sock. She does not have any white on her front legs. She has a full blaze and full white that extends under her bottom lip. Chicky has a large grape size lump on the left side of her neck which she was born with. Chicky was caught up in a recipient mare switch. The ranch believes she may have been sent to Northern Texas or Southern Oklahoma. HOWEVER, she could be anywhere. We are absolutely devastated.
