NOTE ON LC'S COLOR: LC is registered as black, and if left indoors he will get back to mostly black. But since before I bought him he was typically left outdoors with a run-in and seems to be bleached out.

| Incident Description: | I free-leased my horse to a male from Selma, NC on 02/11/2011. He determined he really liked my horse and wanted to buy him... would need to make payments. I never saw any payments. His phone number was disconnected. More time went by. I saw an ad on Craigslist stating to "Beware XXX from Selma". I responded to the ad and it was referring to the same person who had taken my horse. The other horse owner & I met with a Sheriff's deputy on Monday 4/23/12 and went to the property where our horses were to be. The gate was locked. The Deputy called the male. The male verbally admitted to selling my horse to "an older gentleman in Wilson". I have since pressed charges in Johnston County with a court date of 5/25/12. The male contacted me on the phone asking me not to. I advised I simply want my horse back. He stated he wouldn't lie to me... he wasn't sure if he could find him or not. I told him unacceptable... find him. And here we are. I'm asking for help in any way. Other person affected: Ben and Ben may be listing with NetPosse as well. Others may be listing as well. |
