TWHBEA Partners with Stolen Horse International - Lewisburg, TN – TWHBEASM has become the first breed association to partner with Stolen Horse International(www.netposse.com), the nation’s premier resource for locating lost or stolenhorses. This first of its kind partnership will allow TWHBEASM to better serve its members by linking its website with www.netposse.com to assist those that havebecome victims of this unthinkable crime. Additionally, Stolen Horse International will provide a monthly column for the Voice magazine that will present tips on keeping horses safe from theft or loss.
Debi Metcalfe, founder of Stolen Horse International, reports that one third of all missing horses reported to Stolen Horse International are Tennessee Walking Horses. Owners need to be proactive in preventing theft or loss and TWHBEASM is committed to helping keep every Tennessee Walking Horse safe and at home.
The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' AssociationSM, headquartered in Lewisburg, Tennessee, is the oldest and most prestigious organization devoted to the promotion and protection of the breed. Founded in 1935, the breed registry was established to record the pedigrees of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Its goal is to maintain the purity of the breed, to promote greater awareness of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its qualities, to encourage expansion of the breed and to help assure its general welfare.
