OWNER FOUND 4/6/07! Mare & Gelding found in Newnan, Georgia - April 6, 2007
Owner had been searching for horses since they'd been discovered missing. Pasture had power company access and owner is not allowed to lock gates. Some people came on property riding ATVs and left gate open so horses got out. Horses are now safe at home!

other notes: We found two horses walking up a paved road on Friday morning, April 6th. We contacted local law enforcement and reported it. We asked nearby family to pasture the horses temporarily because initially, we did not want to bring them to our farm (not sure of their health). Since Friday, we have contacted the local equine vets, ferriers, and even a local trainer. We have posted FOUND signs at the local tack shop, newspaper office, and at the convenience stores near where we found them. We have also placed an ad in the local paper which will run tomorrow.
