Subject: Keid and Vega

They are home. A lady called living near Deam Lake in Clark State Forest and said they were in a field near by eating and she shook a bucket of grain and has them in her barn. Keid started screaming when he heard our voices. They are emaciated but otherwise seem healthy. Thank you so much for your help. The flier that you designed was important in getting them back home. We printed and passed out everywhere. Thanks again. Will send some pictures at home when I find my camera. Seems that I loose everything these days.

… again thank you for all your help as an orgainization. And all the caring moral boosting from other members all over the USA. Attached are photo's of Keid, upon closer inspection he has two huge cuts in both armpits. They are too old to stitch but are not infected.

… These are two photo’s of Vega. She has more flesh on her than Keid but does not have any wounds.

how missing: These horses were lost at 3:30 a.m. from the horse camp at Bill Wilson's farm the night before an endurance ride. Horses spooked and broke loose, knocking down my electric corral. All horses were caught but my three. On Sat during the ride, SA Eclipse was caught on the trail and ponied back to camp. While the riders were trying to get the other two a tree fell and spooked them back into the woods.
