How Missing: Nova was taken to a woman's farm to get bred to her stallion. She was going to become a broodmare due to having to be retired from riding because of a tripping disorder. I would visit her often and when I saw her last in May, I noticed she was very thin and didn't look like she was being taken care of. I questioned the woman who owns the farm and she said she just needed wormed. I called her a few weeks later to see how Nova was and she told me that her and the stallion had both been struck by lightening and killed the week before. I was shocked that she didn't call me and tell me. She also told me that the week before, she had an Amish man look at her and tell her that Nova was thin because she had a tumor in her throat and should be destroyed. This story did not sound right to me so I did some investigating and found out the stallion (Majestic Echo) is alive and for sale. I confronted this woman and she denies that anything but what she told me happened and that is not the stud but a neighbors horse. She also told me she saved a piece of her tail for me as a keepsake, when I got the piece of tail I knew that was not from Nova, the color and thickness were not even close. I can't help but think she has been sold and is out there somewhere. I rescued Nova from an abusive situation years ago and it took me many years to get her to trust me and realize not everyone was out to hurt her. Nova has a very strong personality and I am afraid that if she ends up in the wrong hands she may be abused again. I am desperate to find her if she is out there.

Hi Debbi,
no luck on nova yet, I did check out the tip on nova and it wasn't her. I have been overwhelmed with the e-mails and phone calls from people since nova was put on the web site. It has been nice to have so much support and so many people trying to help, you truely have an amazing service and even if nova is never found I am gratefull for all of the help of net posse and yourself.
If possible can we up the reward price to $500.00? I thought maybe this will help more.

Thank you again.

Dave Maldonado
