Passed away January 2004. I just want more information on
DC.
type of horse: Dressage, hunter jumper, retired race horse
city county : Gary
horses name: Dress Code
breed: Thoroughbred
sex: Gelding
color: Bay
age: March of 1985
weight: Registered with the Jockey Club
height: 16.3hh, 1200lbs
identifiable characteristics: Stunning bay gelding, super
friendly, extremely laid back hard worker.
- Left hind ankle irregularly white, higher in front.
- Cowlick at crest of neck on both sides.
- Median cowlick at eye level.
- Donated to the University of Minnesota in Crookston January
23, 2000.
- Ran total of 11 races as a three year old, bred by Almar
Farm, trained by Greg Markgraf.
Just want information: Met "DC" at UMC while
attending school there, rode him for my dressage final. Came
across him being sold for slaughter last October (2003) and bought
him. He was neglected and abused. He died of a massive
heart attack Jan. 3, 2004 in his stall, warm and well fed at our
home. Would like any information on him that I can find.
He really inspired me, and would like to hear from previous
owners. He was donated to UMC by a woman from Wisconsin,
however her name hasn't been found.
