you help locate Jake?
RECOVERED AND HOME!!!
Jake is home! Read her Penny Bobo's thank you
and account of this mistaken ID story here.
Kiah has cried and cried because Jake is gone.
notes: Kiah is 8 years old and this is her horse
Jake , who was in the Kiah's grandfathers brothers field so
he would have more pasture. The grandfather didn't realize that
horses from that pasture were going to be taken to an
auction. Jake was mistakenly taken to the Sugarcreek
sale by Buck Bobo, who had told someone which horses to load
for the sale. Jake was picked up by mistake. Jake's sale
number was supposed to be 983 and sold to Darrel Long, of Quaker
City, Ohio, according to sales records. When contact was
made Darrel said he bought a mare. Elizabeth Howard
bought a horse from Bobo but contact has not been made at this
time. The sale was Friday, August 13th. If you
attended this sale and may know the whereabouts of Jake, please
contact Elaine Bryant. see more notes below
Updates: Sunday 8-15-04 There is a
strong lead in Lewistown, Pa. If you live near there please
contact Elaine immediately. We are looking for someone to ID a
horse as Jake. He may be at a sale today and hopefully he
will not go through.
