Searching for Diadem Baha Elbay, Arabian born in Florida in 1983

Below is the result of your feedback form. It was submitted by Elizabeth and Walter Noble on Sunday, October 2, 2005 at 12:29:23 - updated 7/8/08

realname: Christel Nelson (daughter of owner)

email: duchesshill@tds.net

owners name: Elizabeth and Walter Noble

city: Pittsville

state: Wisconsin

zip: 54466

home phone: 715 323-0537

date last seen/missing: 1983

City/county of theft: Jacksonville, Florida

horses name: Diadem Baha Elbay

breed: Arabian

sex: listed as stallion, but may be gelded

color: Bay

age: June 1983/22 yrs

weight: unknown

height: unknown

Registration No: AHR # 299437

identifiable characteristics: Bay, faint snip, faint strip, faint star, irregular white sock left hind, 'ermine toes' (white spots) right fore, left fore and right hind hooves dark. May have white hairs/streak in mane or tail (genetic from his dam's sire line)

how stolen: His dam, Diadem Tiara Baha, was sent bred to Florida (in foal with his sister, Fadllah, whom I have located). Tiara was bred 3 more times while she was there, and had three more colts. She was shipped back to Wisconsin in 1985 with her last colt (location also known). I'm looking for Elbay and his brother Chazwar El Baha (AHR# 303554) - bay gelding foaled May 1984, freeze-branded, gelded January 1985. Their papers do not reflect a change of ownership (Elbay is still listed in my parents name, and Chazwar is in the breeders name), which will happen many times with geldings, but it makes it very hard to find them. I would like to know that they're safe and well cared for, and would like to see how they matured. I'm also making a scrapbook for my mother with all the horses she's owned and bred, and would like pictures of them to add to it.

They were last known to be in Florida, in the Jacksonville area, in 1985. Chazwar's last owners of record, to whom we sent mares for breeding, now live in Dade City, FL and have not been very helpful. I would like to know that they're safe and well cared for, and would be willing to retire them or buy them back.
