type_of_theft: unknown
citycounty_of_theft: Jacksonville, Florida
horses_name: Diadem Baha Elbay
breed: Arabian
sex: listed as stallion, but may be gelded
color: Bay
age: June, 1983/22 yrs
weight: unknown
height: unknown
Registration No: AHR # 299437
identifiable_characteristics: Bay, faint snip, faint strip, faint star, irregular white sock left hind, 'ermine toes' (white spots) right fore, left fore and right hind hooves dark. May have white hairs/streak in mane or tail (genetic from his dam's sire line)
how_stolen: His dam, Diadem Tiara Baha, was sent bred to Florida (in foal with his sister, whom I have located). Tiara was bred 3 more times while she was there, and had three more colts. She was shipped back to Wisconsin in 1985 with her last colt (location also known). I'm looking for Elbay and his brother Chazwar El Baha (AHR# 303554), foal date May 1984, gelded January 1985.
Their papers do not reflect a change of ownership, which will happen many times with geldings, but it makes it very hard to find them. I would like to know that they're safe and well cared for, and would like to see how they matured. I'm also making a scrapbook for my mother with all the horses she's owned and bred, and would like pictures of them to add to it.
