how missing: Sold w/agreement to involve me in any of his transitions. Buyer refused once he was in her possession. He was perfect for new owner per her emails, then 6 wks. Later, while riding him at trails we'd occasion, he threw her and became unruly. I trained and owned him for 8 yrs. His pasture mate & myself contracted West Nile in Sept '03. July '06 she finally offered him to me 'site unseen' / 'cash only' wanting me to pay her over 3 times what she paid for him. I currently have no income due to health problems. Buyer claims he will never stay 'papered'. Several weeks ago she claimed to know where he is, (being rude from the beginning, she's said he's gone to TX on the rodeo circuit or maybe his hooves aren't on this earth anymore. She called me a 'liar' and him a 'killer horse'. I enjoyed riding him for 8 yrs. with my pre-existing spinal conditions (herniations low back & neck since '88), which I couldn’t have done if he weren't a perfect gentleman. I have dozens of friends who have ridden him without incident. This is a tragic to my life; has broken his and my spirit. All I ever wanted; my dream horse and dream pasture are gone now. Please help us both ... we've seen so much trauma in the past 3 yrs. & 3 months. All he needs to know is that his 'human' approves of his new situation. I don't want him or anybody hurt and my heart aches tremendously; I'm certain he thinks of me every day.

markings: He was branded before I got him in the rear left quarter with what looks like a "JD". He has a noticeable scar between his front legs and dent on his left buttocks.

skills: Can jump (loves to) and did whatever I asked, especially team penning. Good cow horse, can cut well, quick turns and stops. Completed a Calvary Clinic, very sure-footed, loves water. Rode mostly western and trails due to my health.

picture: Yes

pic format: Electronic

microchip: No

registered: Yes, American Paint Horse Association

reward: Undisclosed

reward notes: Conditions are that he is located and alive and I am able to approach him and make contact with him. I desperately want to know he is fine and think he needs to know I am fine. I also want to offer assistance to the new owner should they be interested (i.e. pertaining to his care, feed, etc. and if he's still acting out about our sudden separation).
