She got here about 7:30 tonight,looks really tucked up,put a blanket on her and fed.Will take pics in the morning and get a good look at her feet.
NetPosse Note: Top picture taken 10/30/08 - Sabrina appears to have lost weight since other October picture taken at a horse show on Oct. 4.
 Anne was also upset about a tear on her nostil that didn't seem to have been properly repaired and is now permanently split. Sabrina's shoes were pulled

This situation had been ongoing for more than three years. After being listed on NetPosse, the buyer began conversing with the seller again in attempts to work out arrangements to keep the mare. However, the buyer finally decided that it was in everyone's best interest to return Sabrina.
Sabrina was positively identified in October at a horse show and confirmed as being in the possession of the buyer. Shortly afterward the buyer contacted Anne and offered to return Sabrina. When Sabrina is finally home in Colorado, we expect to hear more from Anne. We hope that her vet evaluation goes well.
 After handling dozens of civil cases, I can honestly say that this has the best outcome for everyone involved. Too often the buyer gets mad and wants to just get rid of the horse, especially if it develops any health issues, or they sell the horse for their own financial gain.
In those situations, everyone loses, and often the horse is never found - and if found, the owner might be unable to legally recover the horse since these are civil matters.
Anne appreciates all the help and support she has gotten from NetPosse volunteers and many others!

how missing: Mare was shipped 4/18/2005 to buyer in Bowdon, GA, with signed contract. Buyer was to get insurance on her. Buyer made some payments, but 2 checks were returned. Last payment made was Nov. 5, 2006, before that was February 2006.
 Last year she asked me to contact her attorney that is helping her pay her bills and I was to be paid in full in an email dated Feb.11, 2008, and that never happened.
I got an attorney. We sent 2 certified letters which she never picked up. They were sent back to me. I filed with American Paint Horse Assoc. last Oct. 2007 that the mare was stolen and her papers are frozen. I have her registration papers in my possession. She still owes on the mare and has made no effort to get her paid for or keep in contact.
