MORE INFO:

We entered into a legal contracted agreement with HUSBAND AND WIFE BUYERS (contact seller for name) to sell our horse to them for the sum of $500, along with his grooming supplies and a bridle, to be paid for in full on the first Friday in February, 2008. After repeated attempts to contact them by email and phone with no response, we went to see our horse (Jack) where he was being boarded as per our agreement, only to find that he had been moved in the middle of the night January 30, 2008. Also surprised to find this was the owner and co-lessee of the barn, they also have not received payment. When we arrived at the boarding stable we were informed of the sudden move and that the owner of the barn had run into the buyer where he currently works.

After days of no responses to emails and phone calls we went by their house. We were told the wife was staying in Klickitat, WA for a few days and could not be reached and Dale was at work. Needing to get to the bottom of things we went to his place of work where he apologized and explained there must have been a mix up and he would write us a check right after he got off work. Hours go by and we didn't hear from him so I called the home number and was very rudely treated then cursed at as if it is my fault they haven't paid for the horse. He then threatened me with a restraining order and said if I were to take him to court he would make sure it would drag out for years so I would never get my horse or my money. He also accused me of scamming them, but I believe I was the one scammed. My horse is gone and I was not paid. They have mentioned he is in Klickitat, WA or Washougal, WA, possibly at the wife's parents house and says he may be injured. He does have a tattoo inside his upper lip but they have also told me it isn't what we originally thought, it was hard to read. I was told they call him Ace now.
