I sold an 11-year-old, registered, grey (white with red roan on legs) 15 or so hand appaloosa mare (registered name PR's Whizzer K Kandy ApHC registration number 775980) to a lady [contact owner for details] September 24, 2004, shortly after they moved to Dodge City, Kansas. The mare was sold to them with a contract that allowed me to retain the foal. I have confirmed the foal was actually born and doing well. I tried to make arrangements to retrieve my foal and was told there was no foal to come get. Since that time, the Buyer has moved to Ojocalinte, New Mexico.
Buyer has advertised other horses (including possibly the foal) on several of these groups. She is advertising that she is going to raise only Mammoth Jack stock. The foal would be about six months old now and may have been sold to another party. The last two full siblings to the stolen foal were both buckskin one was blanketed and one was solid. The registration papers for the mare were never transferred from my name into anyone else's (the mare may have been sold without the papers to keep her from being traced). I do have a sizeable reward for any information leading to the recovery of the foal and the arrest and conviction of Buyer. I do know exactly where they live so that is not a worry. These people have been known to run a therapeutic center although NARHA has no idea where they are. I have much more information that I can share via private email. Apparently, there are others of you out there to whom she has done this sort of thing before. If you have purchased this mare with the foal as a package deal, or the mare or foal by itself; could you please contact me so that I can at least get you the papers for the foal and find out where my mare ended up? I do think that people like this really should be stopped from being able to hurt others in this manner. Please help me get my foal back and put a stop these people being able to do this to other parties around the country.
