Search efforts:
Besides ours and our neighbors searches in vehicles on surrounding roads, on foot, on horseback, on cross country skis, and on snowmobiles, these avenues have been pursued:
The snowmobile club has been notified, for all snowmobilers to be on the lookout, and they have been up looking. The flying club has notified all pilots (airport runway is about 1/4 mile north of us). The local radio station has advertised about this repeatedly for weeks. The local paper put an article, with a photo of the horse, in the front section, plus a 4x4 'lost' ad in the buyer's guide section that goes to everyone. We have made posters, with photos and info at 3 gas stations, the 2 grocery stores, the 2 feed stores, the hardware store, an auto repair shop, the Ben Franklin store, and a restaurant in town.
