Stolen Pony from Stark County Ohio December 15th, 2005

Girl Wants Pony Returned In Time For Christmas

FOUND - deceased
It is with great sadness that we post this ... We have received several emails that it was reported in Canton newspapers that Judy did fall through the ice into the pond at the grandmother's house and drowned. They couldn't see her until some of the ice melted.

If anyone has a black and white pony that would like to donate to this family, it would be greatly appreciated. We know the little girls are devasted.

Stolen Horse International does not have a report filed on Judy but we would like you to know about her too.  We have been unable to get in touch with the owners at this time.   We have contacted the Sheriff's department and news media and they said they would forward the information.  It has been our experience that this is usually not a reliable means of communication. If you can help us help them, please do.  Send us their contact information.

This is the information we have submitted by a NetPosse Member:

Thanks so much for posting this missing pony. I am in the area and saw the article and photo in the newspaper.  I did contact the caregiver of the pony and told them to contact you and have a picture posted, but apparently they haven't, yet.

The pony, Judy, is a

  • 6-year-old black and white mare.
  • Lost or stolen from Millvale Avenue NE, Plain Township, Stark County, OH on
  • Thursday, December 15th.
  • Here are the contacts I have: Sue at puppyshack3624@yahoo.com  or 330-453-9362 or
  • Marge at 330-452-3925.

STARK COUNTY, Ohio -- A family in Stark County wants to know how their pony vanished, NewsChannel5 reported. The mystery has left two little girls hoping for a Christmas miracle.
The last time anyone saw the pony, named Judy, was last Thursday when she was eating hay. Although the family got a phone call from a pet psychic, they have not had any luck locating the pony.  The psychic said the pony is 5 miles east of their home, which is East Canton. "Whoever took her, I wish you would bring her back," said Jenna Lamp. There is a reward for returning Judy. If you have any information that could help get the pony back, call the Stark County Sheriff’s Department at (330) 430-3800.
