missing date: November 2006

how missing: Ty belongs to a summer camp that leases their horses out in the winter. Ty was leased to a staff member from the previous summer. The horse was seen around November and in good health and apparently good care. No one from camp has seen the horse since then. He was supposed to be returned two weeks ago, the shipper never showed up. Our hauler was sent to a non-existent address to pick the horse up two days ago. Finally located a stable in Millersport, Ohio (contact submittor for name of stable) where the horse was supposed to be located. Originally we were told the horse was never there. Then three other stories were told - the horse was given away because board was not paid, the horse was shot by hunters, and the horse was turned loose because board was not paid. The lessee will not return calls and cannot be located. There was a large amount of tack sent with the horse on the lease - one saddle was returned from the stable; the rest has not been found.
horse name: Ty
breed: Quarter Horse
color: Bay
age: 22 years
Gender: Gelding
weight: 1200 lbs
height: 16+ hands
markings:
- Ty only has one eye. His left eye was injured when he was a baby. It is not removed, but it is very small and non-functional.
- He has a thin white stripe.
- He is extremely easy going and calm.
- May be very thin.
skills: Ty does anything. He is very willing, easy to ride, an absolute gem. He is responsive to anyone - even very small children. Used to be a dressage horse, also evented and competed in western events.
