UPDATE 12/21/09: A witness reported seeing a white truck (not old but not new) Dec. 2, 2009 - Mr. Fulford apparently missed the theft by moments!
The witness did not recognize the driver as a current suspect in the case, but this person could have been hired by a suspect.
There are suspects, but theft could be by unknown party. Sonny could be in Ocean Springs, Mississippi area (possibly traveled from Mobile down Hwy 90) or in Mobile County (in Satsuma or Citronelle).

how missing: Owner went to Florida for Thanksgiving holidays. Horse and trailer were taken sometime after she left on Nov. 24 and were found to be missing Dec. 2, 2009. Caretaker said last seen Tuesday, Dec. 1, but could have been missing prior to that.
This horse has been trail ridden extensively on Alabama Wagon Trains (Boaz to Montgomery), St. Jude ride in Baldwin County, and even in Mississippi.
