Four Horses Claimed Abandoned by landowner and sold in Clark County, MO - March 15, 2009
These horses were not abandoned!
Believed sold at auction and/or privately in tri-state area of Iowa, Illinois, Missouri. Big Mare is arthritic and needs to be on Joint Flex. OWNER WILLING TO BUY BACK!

location: Wayland, Missouri (Clark County) – believed sold by horse dealer either at sale barns or privately in the tri state area (Iowa, Illinois, Missouri)
 how missing: Horses were taken from boarding pasture by landowner’s father and sold to a horse dealer and later landowner allegedly told sheriff’s department horses had been abandoned. Owner’s brother had been checking on horses regularly and landowner was aware of this. Dealer allegedly knew seller wasn’t the owner (stated they were his girlfriend’s horses) Dealer has admitted that he bought the horses knowing that they were not seller’s and then sold the horses. Clark county MO and Washington county IA are notified of everything we know. Washington sheriff was notified because of huge horse sales. Sale barn is Kalona IA. Dealer will not cooperate with us to find these horses.
