UPDATE! Suspects never were in Enid. They are in Terrelton, OK (between Mannsford and Jennings) Suspects driving a red pickup truck. updated 4/6/06
Two Arabian Geldings Stolen & Presumed sold near Terrelton, Okla, Dec. 2005

Print UPDATED PDF flyer for Lightning and Thunder HERE
Personal Note from the owner:
They have never known anything but love and natural training methods. They didn't really know they were horses if you know what I mean. Thunder is our Houdini, and can open anything, and Lightning our graceful jumper that will jump brush piles or anything just to jump out in the pasture. They have never been apart and I greatly fear for their lives. - NetPosse 3/17/06

how missing: UPDATE! Suspects never were in Enid. They are in Terrelton, OK (between Mannsford and Jennings). Suspects driving a red pickup truck.
These horses were my babies that I raised from weanlings, my husband became ill and his uncle suggested I let some cousins (contact owner for name) use them to ride. It would benefit us both and they would take good care of them. They were told again and again that they could never be separated or sold and if there were any problems to call and we would come get them. We found out at my husband's brother's funeral that Lightning was causing some problems by rearing. So when I got home that Wednesday I called to a disconnected number. Called husband’s aunt and she admitted that the kids had sold them at an undisclosed sale barn in Oklahoma 2 months ago and skipped town. The male suspect works in Tulsa. Victim has reason to believe these people could be dangerous if confronted.

other info: These are 2 straight Egyptian geldings that I brought in from Canada when they were just babies. They are eligible for registry, I have all of their canadian registration papers, just never sent them in. Lightning's Sire was Qahtahn, and Dam was Ansata Monalima. Thunder's Sire was Royal Jalliel, and Dam was MB Dalkour. Even though both are now geldings, their royal bloodlines are very important and with cloning now being a factor, the fact that they are geldings doesn't mean as much as it used to. Thunder's dad was sold for something like $38,000. And most colts from these lines are sold under private treaty.
