RECOVERED - Jack Sprat - Buckskin Yearling Quarter Horse Colt Stolen in Tulsa, OK – March 9, 2007
A woman called animal control approximately 20 miles from where Jack Sprat was stolen. She said she'd found him wandering loose. We do not have all the details, but apparently, the animal control officers took Jack Sprat to a livestock auction. One of the officers knew of him being stolen. Tulsa police were called, and after the owner went to the auction and a positive ID was made, Kristi was able to take him home. An investigation into the theft is ongoing. ~ NetPosse 3/15/07 - 2:40 pm

Colt had recent hernia operation and has 5 stitches in navel. He is a sweet, but timid colt. His mother died unexpectantly when he was 2 weeks old, and he is very special to his owners.
NOTE: This could be connected to another theft from a nearby barn around the same time.
