Bay Nat'l Show Horse/Arabian Gelding, J.N. Wonder (JJ), Missing when Spooked
in Fairhaven, Mass - Sept 9, 2007
FULLY TACKED WHEN SPOOKED INTO WOODS!

IMPORTANT NOTES about JJ's SEARCH EFFORTS from Marge 9/15/07:
- just arrived home and have been out in the woods in Fairhaven, Mass. with a large group of people all day
- convinced JJ is not in these woods
- no hoofprints, manure or areas where he would run through etc.
- built up area with farms and homes close by - No one has seen him
- All authorities have been notified
- planes and helicopter have been up in the air twice
- believe someone has taken him [possibly someone doesn't know where he belongs ~ NetPosse] or someone is holding him for the reward
- JJ was wearing a custom saddle
- JJ's age is 11 per his registration papers
- JJ's DNA is also on file with the two registries
- JJ is owned by Dotty Paquette - well known throughout U.S. for breeding, showing and training these horses.

Marge,
Over the last week I have spoken with several people and have had a meeting with our animal control officer. Properties in Dartmouth and Fairhaven have been checked and no signs of the horse in either location. It's obvious that someone stole the horse and has since re-located it or sold it. The hard part is going to find out who that person is. . .
