Hi,
Not sure if you still have our lost mare listed. She disappeared over 2 years ago now... but in case, here is her info, so you can pull her off your data base. She was found just last Fri, dead, just a skeleton, but her halter was still on. Apparently someone in the area was or is shooting horses for sport and possibly meat. She was found out on BLM land in a very remote area, by BLM workers.
She was a 1994 Appy mare, bay/roan, branded, a recent rescue from a PMU farm in Canada and was just starting to put on weight, and calm down when she disappeared off the property one day, leaving all the other horses behind.

how missing: "Burgundy" was grazing out side of the barn w/ another mare. It appears she may have just left all the rest of the horses and ran up the road towards the forest. (found a fresh manure pile on logging road, behind our property. She is a new rescue from Canada, off PMU lines.
