how missing: Ruby Ranch Horse Rescue adopted a 3YO Arabian filly to a couple (contact rescue for name) in Valley Center, CA, in March 2007. Ownership papers were retained by RRHR. At the 6-month check and for several months thereafter, our phone calls and letter were not responded to. We discovered through Escondido Animal Control that the address where the horse was supposed to be stabled is vacant and the horse may have been listed for sale on Craigslist. One of the references from the adoption application returned our call and told us the couple split up, moved and possibly sold the horses they had to someone in Julian, CA.
