how missing: After we fired farm employees, they left the premises on 9/8/07, and we took inventory of all horses on the farm. It was discovered that 5 horses were missing. We are also missing tack purchased by the farm, and we are looking for records so we can list these items.

other info: Louisa Co. Sheriff's Office has called in the Virginia State Police for assistance in this case. The name of the investigator is Austin White and he can be reached at 804-553-3533.
A former employee told me that they traded the palomino mare listed above. This was unauthorized by me. If they did so, they did it without papers as I still have the papers. I don't know what happened to the other horses or when it would have happened.
Owner of farm visited about once a week, but was restricted due to health problems. There were 70 or so horses on the farm, including about 20 palomino mares, turned out in a band, so the missing horses were not noticed until the farm employees vacated the property and took their personal horses (about 15).
