BROWNS SUMMIT —
The Guilford County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a horse.

Around 9 a.m. on Thursday, the owner of a white Arabian horse reported it missing from 8023 Old Reidsville Road, according to a sheriff's office news release.

On Tuesday, the owner reported the horse had been found deceased on a rural part of a neighbor’s property.

The sheriff’s office is seeking any information from the public that could aid in the death investigation. The cause of death is unknown and under investigation by the sheriff’s office and Guilford County Animal Control.
