comp driving.jpgAsheligh Jones, age 21, of Pontilanfraith, Wales, UK was distressed to find her competition marathon carriages missing when she went out to feed her horses recently. These are very specialized carriages, built to withstand the rigors of high-speed cross country travel, sharp turns, and demanding conditions.

She had two - one for her horse and one specially made for her pony. Estimated value of each is about 2,000 BP ($3,417.00 USD, $3668.00 CD). But it isn't just about the monetary value

"I normally compete in throughout the summer but I won’t be able to now." She had taken some time off after the birth of a baby, but this will extend that time considerably if the carriages cannot be recovered.
