STOLEN EQUINES RECOVERED, – ‘Little Miss River’ & ‘Yago’ – South Carolina

Rembert (Kershaw County), SC Friday, July 28, 2017

‘Little Miss River’ aka ‘River’ and ‘Yago’ were last seen on April 23, 2017 according to Jackie McFadden. 7 years to the date that the bill was signed in South Carolina to recognize the Marsh Tacky Horses as the Official State Heritage Horse, River and Yago were recovered.

Jackie McFadden informed Stolen Horse International aka NetPosse.com that River and Yago are in good shape, have been taken care of and are safely at home. Jackie and her husband, Jodie Reeves, are very ecstatic to have them home. This has been a very long 94 days in the search for River and Yago and they are very relieved that the search is over.

Stolen Horse International, a nonprofit organization also known as NetPosse.com, is well known as the “lost and found’ place for horses on the internet for the equine industry. NetPosse.com offers horse theft and equine ID education and assist in search and recovery of stolen or missing horses, as well as other equine equipment.

Thank you all for looking for them and praying for them! It's truly a miracle! We are ecstatic!”, says   Jackie McFadden on her Facebook post. “River came right up and put her head right in Jackie’s arm and Yago came and put his head on my shoulder.” said Jodie Reeves. “If River and Yago could just talk and tell us what all they have been through.”

On April 24, 2017, Stolen Horse International, Inc. received the first online report on its web site, www.NetPosse.com, filed by McFadden and, in short order, began distributing the information via their NetPosse Alert (the horse community’s Amber Alert) on the Internet to hundreds of social media groups and private email contacts in an effort to rally the public to help the family.

You will find River and Yago’s webpage with information and a printable flyer in their NetPosse.com listing, which is where any updates or leads will be posted. Anyone interested in helping can search for report number NR005217 or use this direct link on the NetPosse.com site: http://www.netposse.com/view_report.asp?reportid=5217

“We are so relieved that River and Yago have been recovered!” says Pam Miller, Report Manager of Stolen Horse International. “We thank everyone that helped in the search and to help spread the word regarding their disappearance.”

Pictures, flyer, contact information, updates and other information are on the NetPosse webpage to identify this case quickly when calling in a tip.
