MISSING EQUINE, – Time to Sweet Touch aka Sweetie – Texas

Houston (Harris County), TX Monday, November 21, 2016

Sweetie is a 7 year old Chestnut Quarter Horse Mare that was found to be missing from her stable on November 18, 2016 according to Adrian Alvarez, owner.

Ms. Alvarez asked Stolen Horse International for assistance in locating Sweetie. On November 18, 2016, Mr. Alvarez reported that Sweetie was missing from her stable where his other horses are kept. He went to feed them their evening meal and Sweetie was gone. Mr. Alvarez have notified the Harris County Sheriff Department of the missing horse.

Stolen Horse International, a nonprofit organization also known as NetPosse.com, is well known as the “lost and found’ place for horses on the internet for the equine industry. NetPosse.com offers horse theft and equine ID education and assist in search and recovery of stolen or missing horses, as well as other equine equipment.

“I had Sweetie for a little over a year. She meant a lot to me. I put a lot of hard earned money into her to make her the beautiful horse she is now”, says Adrian Alvarez. “She was loved dearly and had lots of attention from her trainer and myself.” Mr. Alvarez went on to tell Stolen Horse International, that they have looked everywhere for Sweetie and there are no signs of her to be found.

On November 21, 2016, Stolen Horse International, Inc. received the first online report on its web site, www.NetPosse.com, filed by Alvarez and, in short order, began distributing the information via their NetPosse Alert (the horse community’s Amber Alert) on the Internet to hundreds of social media groups and private email contacts in an effort to rally the public to help the family.

You will find Sweetie’s webpage with information and a printable flyer in her NetPosse.com listing, which is where any updates or leads will be posted. People interested in helping can search for report number NR005101 or use this direct link on the NetPosse.com site: http://www.netposse.com/view_report.asp?reportid=5101

“Circulating the Sweetie’s flyer and the NetPosse.com Alert nationwide is imperative, as she could be anywhere by now. These flyers are one tool that brings home many horses and must be posted in as many public places as possible,” says Debi Metcalfe, founder of Stolen Horse International. “And remember, not everyone has internet access. Please post Sweetie’s flyer in public places as well.”

Pictures, flyer, contact information, updates and other information are on the NetPosse webpage to identify this case quickly when calling in a tip. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Adrian Alvarez, Harris County Sheriff Department or Stolen Horse International with any information.
