Henry County Police are investigating after a family says two horses were stolen from their McDonough farm.

"I'm hurting because I miss my horse," Rachel Moore, who owns the horses told CBS46. "Watching my child go through this is absolutely devastating."

Moore believes the horses, Henry and Buddy, were lured to the back of the farm where a fence was found cut open.  Moore says it's likely someone put the horses in a trailer and drove off.

"Whoever did this knew what they were doing, had messed with horses before," she said.

"It was more than just a pet," Moore's daughter, Samantha said.  "They are our family."

The family is warning neighbors to be on alert and offering up a reward to find the animals.

"We won't ever stop looking for them," Sarah added. "We will find them.  One way or another, we will find them."
