Cedar Hill (Jefferson County), MO Saturday, July 23, 2016

On Saturday, July 23, 2016, Stolen Horse International aka NetPosse.com was notified by Mark & Suzanne Lenz that Cooper has been found. Unfortunately, it is not the news that they had hoped for as he was deceased. From the Lenz’s:” It’s with a very very heavy heart to say that Cooper was found this morning... Rest In Peace Cooper you will never be forgotten. Mark and Suzanne cannot "Thank" everyone enough for their efforts in the search of their beloved Cooper and has requested with no calls or messages at this time so their family may have the time to grieve. Thank you, to EVERYONE who has helped in sharing Coopers fliers to searching!! Much love to you all!!”

On, Monday July 11, 2016, Mark & Suzanne Lenz’s beloved horse, Cooper, was reported missing from his pasture in Cedar Hill, MO. Cooper is a 12-year-old Palomino Missouri Fox Trotter Gelding.

Mark & Suzanne Lenz asked Stolen Horse International for assistance in locating Mark’s horse. Mark Lenz reported that they were notified on Monday July 11, 2016 that Cooper had gotten out of his pasture.

Stolen Horse International, a nonprofit organization also known as NetPosse.com, is well known as the “lost and found’ place for horses on the internet for the equine industry. NetPosse.com offers horse theft and equine ID education and assist in search and recovery of stolen or missing horses, as well as other equine equipment.

At the time of the report was filed, Suzanne Lenz informed Stolen Horse International that Cooper is Mark’s therapy horse. Suzanne went on to say “Cooper has helped Mark overcome a severe accident from 9/26/2014 when Mark was run over and almost died. Cooper is his therapy horse not only for building strength in his legs but also to help Mark have the will to live. Cooper means everything to Mark.”

On July 14, 2016, Stolen Horse International, Inc. received the first online report on its web site, www.NetPosse.com, filed by Lenz and, in short order, began distributing the information via their NetPosse Alert (the horse community’s Amber Alert) on the Internet to hundreds of social media groups and private email contacts in an effort to rally the public to help the family.

You will find Cooper’s webpage with information in his NetPosse.com listing, which is where any updates will be posted. Please visit www.netposse.com to search for report number NR004990 or use this direct link on the NetPosse.com site: https://netposse.com/view_report.asp?reportid=4990
