Dear Friends of NetPosse,

It’s summer time once again and many of us are enjoying our horses. We want to not forget those among us who are not as lucky, who are still desperately searching for theirs, and the ones yet to become victims in the future.  Thanks to your help in the past and the thousands who turn to us for help, here we grow again!

We are starting with a bang! NetPosse.com is going mobile!

We have to improve our services on Stolen Horse International’s website since browsing has changed again on the internet. As mobile web browsing takes the internet by storm, we have been feeling the pressure to get on board. Google has announced that businesses who want to stay relevant in this marketplace must go mobile or be left behind. In April, the all-powerful algorithm that determines Google’s search result rankings were updated to favor websites that are mobile-friendly.

Our non-profit charitable institution is currently working on our mobile ready website. Since so many people have turned to us for assistance over the years, our database website has outgrown its shared server space and must now have its own server! This is good and bad for us. The good of course is that so many people trust us when they need help the most. The bad is that our own server space will cost us hundreds of dollars every month on top of the cost of the new website.

These improvements are intended to make it easier for victims to access our assistance from phones and tablets, something that is not always user friendly with our current site. Users trying to help or access our many resources will be able to find information quicker and easier. This update is intended to provide faster data to our users so that more horses can be brought home.

We are currently #1 in all of the search engines which is a tremendous help to those who need to find us. How long will this last with our current antiquated website? This can affect our alerts and recoveries in the future.
