Boone County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for stolen animals that include two camels.
The double-hump male camels along with two steer were stolen from a farm on Botner Road near Columbia.
They were last seen Monday morning.
The animals' owner says someone likely lured the animals into a trailer sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday.
The male camels are about 3 years old, tan, and 9-feet tall.
ow what you're doing and you'd have to have suitable means to transport them. These camels are nine feet tall and I don't know that a horse trailer would do the job."
He says the four animals are worth a total of about $20,000.
