I want to apologize for not having had a chance (yet) to answer all of the emails that I have gotten from all of the kind and supportive people out there, but please know that Dale, Sky, and myself are very touched by your kindness.
We have had many offers to replace Cimarron but Sky still needs a little time to mourn her boy, and she has said the thing she wants more than anything is for the 'thief' to pay for what he did.
We have asked Debi to set up a Cimarron Memorial Fund so that those of you who would like to help can make a donation to Stolen Horse International (without whom we couldn't have gotten as far as we have) in memory of our beloved Cimarron. All of us have agreed that we do not want Cimarron's death to have been in vain.
Debi works tirelessly to reunite horses with their proper owners but all this costs money. Debi could accomplish so much more if she could build a database. We would be able to increase the speed at which stolen horses recovered. Horses like Cimarron where time is of the essence. Please, please let's help Debi continue on with SHI and help prevent this tragedy from happening to someone else.
