Volunteers, The Pride of Stolen Horse International "There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results." - Kenneth Blanchard Who is our "typical" volunteer? It's hard to come up with a prototype - they range from 8 years of age to 75. About seventy five percen t of the volunteers are horse owners and the other twenty five percent are people who love them but don’t own them. Our volunteers includes police officers, farriers, barn managers, company executives, teachers, nurses, attorneys, secretaries, students, doctors, computer programmers, homemakers, nutritionist, writers, authors and salespeople to name a few. What unites this diverse group of individuals is a love for horses, a true respect for people and a desire to make a difference. What does a Stolen Horse International Volunteer do?
