When Idaho was stolen from the Metcalfes on Sept. 26, 1997, they thought their journey would end when she was recovered. Little did they know her theft and recovery 51 weeks later was the end of normal. And so the beginning of Stolen Horse International.

Stolen Horse back in College! ... Debi meets Sizzle
 Debi was invited to meet Sizzle, stolen and recovered in Illinois, at her official homecoming that inspired a Program on Theft Prevention. Debi happily presented a reward to the finder offered by Tom Seay of Best of America by Horseback.
 In September, Dawn reported her aged paint gelding was missing in Pennsylvania. A few days later, she discovered the horrible truth ... Marvin was dead. Help her get justice for Marvin.
Attempted Theft Foiled by Owner!
 Emily's owner thought she had a legitimate buyer but was stunned to find she'd been paid with FAKE money orders. When the pressure was on, the buyer dumped Emily and disappeared. |

 Sonny (NC - Missing) RECOVERED - After spooking and disappearing in a National Forest, Sonny was successfully recovered 9 days later with the help of dedicated volunteers.
 Nick (MD - stolen) RECOVERED Aged Gelding disappeared from his pasture but was recovered four days later!
 Daisy (OK - Stolen) - Mare RECOVERED in 3 days and reunited with her owners.
Stolen Trailer (MO) Between 9/30 and 10/1 - 2007 Aluminum Gooseneck 6-Horse Trailer from Greene County. Has Springfield Polo logos.
Aug. 31, a blue Circle J Thoroughbred 2-Horse Trailer was stolen from Calhoun County

 Sugar (FL - Stolen) This bay quarter pony mare is one of several recently stolen in south Florida.(MA - missing) This bay Nat'l Show Horse / Arab gelding spooked on a trail in Sept. No sign of him ... does someone have him? $ Large Reward $
 Tar (IL - missing) Dark Bay / Black standardbred gelding missing in bad lease. Has EPM - cannot be Ridden!
 Chip (NY - missing) Dark Brown / Gray POA gelding missing in bad lease. Has Cushings and needs meds!
