 Thanks to Stolen Horse International, the herd of 35 camels of Karisia Limited in Kenya, Africa will soon have freeze brands to prove ownership.
What if your horses get loose?
WHOA sign finds owner!
A contractor saw several horses running loose down a road near Raleigh, NC, on Feb. 18. He saw a W.H.O.A. sign on NetPosse member Shannon Hoffman's gate, and called NetPosse. Read how this played out.
While Lynn was in the hospital receiving treatment for cancer her horses, Maggie and Dharma were stolen in Oklahoma. Dharma is due to foal in March. Both mares are precious to Lynn. Please help bring them home!
Florida Hit in Waves
In December, three Team Penning horses, Harley, Missy and Perky were stolen through cut fences. Just after the New Year, three party ponies, a quarter horse and a trailer were stolen. Another trailer had to be involved to take all the ponies and horse.

SHI's eBay Auction a Success Thanks to all the contributors and bidders, SHI's auction was again a success. In conjunction, we also held a SILENT AUCTION, since we had an error that ended some items early. This silent auction worked out really well.
Watch for a Mini-Auction this Spring! There was such an overwhelming response to the auction this year that we simply could not list everything. The previous year, we listed about 70 items, and this year there were more than 200. So look for a chance soon to bid on more great items for NetPosse!
The Good ...
 Poncho (KY - stolen) RECOVERED - Fence was torn down and Poncho was led 4 miles down the road to a trailer. Two men contacted police 16 days later saying that had found him.
 Sundance (MO - stolen) RECOVERED Palomino Gelding disappeared from Indiana with trainer, and was known to be sold in Missouri. After residing in four states, Sundance was found in Iowa and brought safely home. Read more about him in the March issue of Equestrian Network Magazine. Blu (SC - missing) RECOVERED - Blu ran off Christmas Day when his new owner became unseated. Though he was frightened, he managed to wander close to home 4 days later, fully tacked and okay.
 Gracie (SD - missing) RECOVERED - Chestnut mare missing with bay filly, Belle, when adoptee joined military and sold the horses.

Ninja was stolen from his pasture 2 years ago. Meet his owner Ann at Equifest. A tip came in that Ninja may have been at an auction in Kentucky for sale by a dealer last December. He was tied to a trailer with several other horses outside the auction. Have you seen him?
When Sizzle was stolen from Black Hawk College a year ago, her recovery was celebrated by employees, students and NetPosse members, including Debi Metcalfe who was invited to a special theft education program that fall. To add to that victory, NetPosse is proud to report that ALL FOUR of the thieves have plead guilty in her theft! This is a huge win for all horse theft victims!
This case doesn't involve a missing horse, but instead a Life-Size Painting of Gifted, a well-known dressage horse. It disappeared after the California gallery it was exhibited in closed down.
